I didn't expect this loss to happen. I truly thought the Saints would win to give Loomis an excuse to ride with Allen till end of season. But now, its obvious the players have not just given up, they're showing it and telling it. The fans are furious. We are quite literally the laughing stock of the NFL at the moment.

Loomis riding with Allen remainder of the season seems like a completely incomprehensible concept that makes no sense other then intentionally tanking. But losing the fanbase, and more importantly the belief of your players next year could have dire consequences that lingers for years.

So it seems like a terrible business decision. No coach is going to come in and win 5+ games for the rest of the season so no matter what, it seems we get a top 10 pick at worst.

Actually I believe no one really cares these days about the Saints outside of NOLA and that should be more concerning to the organization. They are no longer relevant as they were under Payton even when they were losing.

No question that there have been stupid mistakes on ST. It’s still the best of the three units. Also, for example, some of the special teamers were late additions.
