Same because I thought he had been sick awhile ago and had died then. Now I see I've probably been confused that he was hospitalized and in ICU back in November and I forgot reading about it. I was thinking it was longer ago than that.
They've been mum on any specifics. I wonder how aware he was the Dodgers won the Series this year.

One of the radio sports squawk shows mentioned that he was in Arlington for the Dodgers World Series victory, and was said to be quite cognizant of the championship.
I'd credit the show, but I cannot remember which one it was. News reports also mention that he was in attendance.
