I don’t think keeping those 2 guys around would be a deal breaker for most HC candidates but you never know I guess.

Seems to me like Glenn’s defense just performs to the level of talent that is available. Once the Lions lost Hutch and some other key guys they’ve been one of the worst defenses in the league. If he just coaches to the talent level, I would expect the defense to be bad again here if he is hired. Hopefully this report isn’t true.

Who knows if this has any merit to it or not but if so what coaches would he want to keep?

As much as I would like a total turnover on the staff, Dennison, Benton, and Hodges are really good football coaches. I could see how Glenn might want them on staff but I sure hope Loomis isn't going to try to force any coaches on the next HC. Also, Bryan Young has done a hell of a job in a few short weeks.

I'd be more concerned if this information was from a better source.

We don’t know he will be……BUT if he’s already conceding picking own staff from top to bottom it’s not a good sign. This team desperately needs new blood. I don’t dislike Glenn but I want offensive minded Head Coach ready to start a foundation up rebuild. No more of the kicking the can down the road strategy of building a roster.
