McAlister defied logic in the sense that a man that big should not have been able to run the way he did.

He was powerful and ran with an ease that didn't make sense.

Deuce in 2003 was amazing. LT21 was the only RB you could argue was better that year.

Didn't Deuce have 8 straight games with over 100 yards rushing that year? He was on a tear!

I remember that year by Rogers. Forgot how amazing Sproles was in this offense...hate that he got away. Deuce will always be #1 in my book.

Oh, absolutely. My thoughts in comparing the caliber of offenses was Hilliard didn’t have the advantage of a field stretching passing attack to take more of the pressure off. He was a workhorse back against some stout defensive fronts and turned in a strong showing in ‘89. I’d put that season in the top five without hesitation.

In case it went unnoticed, Hilliard and Kamara both had 18 tds in those respective seasons. Hilliard edged him out on combined yardage. Not taking anything away from Kamara, who has exceptional talent, and should have many great seasons ahead.

Dalton Hilliard led the NFL in TDs that year. Also, that was the season that Hebert got benched for Fourcade.

That said, it was fun to reflect on 2003. Man it was so nice to have a beast who made everyone forget about how the RW trade went down. We finally had some people who knew talent.
