Agreed, if you look at every position, we can use talent everywhereUnfortunately, I think we have more than 2 top needs. It’s a long way to the top if you want to rock ‘n roll.
This sounds exactly like what Loomis will be saying along with we’re staying competitive! Just keep doing what we’ve been doing.lol, this is harsh. This is a team playing w/ 3rd and 4th string players at multiple positions. You think the Bucs win this if we have Carr, Olave, Alvin?
Idk man, this team has a real chance to surprise people next year because it’s not as bad of a team as the record indicates.
This is an important draft
This.Unfortunately, I think we have more than 2 top needs. It’s a long way to the top if you want to rock ‘n roll.
And this. Team needs talent at almost every position. Just the truth.Needs = good football players, across the board
This sounds exactly like what Loomis will be saying along with we’re staying competitive! Just keep doing what we’ve been doing.
Thats pretty good company if we’re talking successful people. Thank YouThis sounds exactly like what Loomis will be saying along with we’re staying competitive! Just keep doing what we’ve been doing.
While I agree with you, realistically seeing that we will be forced to keep a lot of older guys due to their contracts and cap hit it leaves only so many positions open for adding newer younger players. We cannot add 15 new young players this year so getting too many draft picks does not good. We have to look at it as a multi step build and with Loomis it’s not a rebuild! We have lots of picks with the ability to obtain more. We need all the draft capital that we can aquire. Time to get younger and cheaper
You sound like Mickey Loomis, which scares me considering I believe this is truly how he thinks, which drives him to kick the salary cap can down the road every year because he believes we are VERY close. No need to make wholesale changes from the mind of Loomis; we are VERY close! Mickey Loomis and his fallacy thinking has to go. Scares the beegeebees outta me.lol, this is harsh. You nae it, we need it.Gonna need to jettison old unproductive players and their contracts--this is gonna take 2 years--bite the bullet and do it. Go young and sheetty for 2 years.Safety, DT, DE, G are all bigger needs than WR
Yep. With Loomis driving the tank you don’t need to worry about having too many picks. It is exactly what we need tho, just not possible. While I agree with you, realistically seeing that we will be forced to keep a lot of older guys due to their contracts and cap hit it leaves only so many positions open for adding newer younger players. A QB, an offensive line, ball hawking safeties, shut down cornerbacks, another linebacker to compliment the ageless DD, a defensive ball stuffing line, ......and yes a whole new coaching philosophy, and a playmaking receiver.Besides a whole new coaching philosophy, when it comes to draft needs there's two that stand out. The Saints desperately need a playmaking receiver. Olave is good but injury prone and the position needs an upgrade. The other is a disruptive force in the middle of the defense. The Saints stink against the run and I'm tired of opposing QB's making them look pitiful by running for big gains on passing plays. When are the Saints gonna get it!!!! I like Rizzi but he shouldn't be the Head Coach going forward.
1.What is Olave's future?Watching MVS botch 2 different chances on touchdowns in this game definitely has me thinking an upgrade at WR will equate to more wins. Obviously today isn’t the only day we’ve seen this issue pop up with our WR’s, but was a prime example of a better WR likely helping us score points in those situations.
