Trevor Lawrence could be out Thursday (2 Viewers)

Update:
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports Trevor Lawrence is dealing with a knee sprain that “is not a significant thing,” but the Jaguars are uncertain whether or not he will be able to play in Week 7 against the Saints.

The short turnaround could prove problematic for Lawrence, as the Jaguars have only three days to get ready for Thursday night’s matchup against the Saints. The team will release their estimated practice report on Monday, but the more telling practice report will come on Tuesday when the team takes the field. If Lawrence is unable to go, C.J. Beathard would be in line to make his 13th career start. Beathard is 2-10 in 12 career starts and has thrown for 3546-18-14 in 27 career games.

CJ Beathard is his backup. He's a six year career backup who's never thrown for more than 1500 yards in a season.

He's the exact type of quarterback who will gut us like a fish.

I'd rather play against peak Tom Brady than any middling journeyman backup who hasn't thrown a football in a month.

I hold no hope that the Saints will beat the Jags under any scenario. I expect the Saints to be 3-4 after Thursday and have been given no reason to feel different.

This is the problem. We might win.
And we’ll back into a few more wins. And we’ll end up 8-9……despite being not good.
And instead of drafting top 5 and getting a game changer, we’ll draft 14 and get a good player.

At least the Broncos suck so our 2nd rounder should be high
ding ding ding - a winner!

remember how excited Loomis was about beating Philly last year when they started . . . Gardner Minshew? as if that's totally the same thing as the Eagles with Jalen Hurts.

Trevor Lawrence is “very likely” to start on Thursday, according to Jaguars back-up quarterback C.J. Beathard.

Unless this is some kind of mind game, the Jaguars other quarterback telling the media that it is likely that Lawrence, and not Beathard, will start on Thursday is certainly notable. Lawrence got off the ground with a limp after taking a 17-yard sack near the end of the game, but was able to complete the game and practice with a knee brace on Tuesday. Even if Lawrence is under center on Thursday, we have to imagine his mobility will be hindered, which could be an issue against a stout Saints defense.

We'll just trade 2025s first to move up...not worried at all.

Any wins the Saints get under this coaching staff are hollow and actually hurt the team’s future.

I’ve said since after the Green Bay choke job… the best thing for the Saints is for the bottom to fall out and DA to lose the locker room, and get fired ASAP.
