If we can borrow a line from our former dc Gregg Williams - that hit on Baker was a “remember me” shot. In no way, illegal and it’s main purpose is to make QBs think twice before hanging in the pocket or scrambling.

If Baker has bruised ribs - they will shoot him up and put a flack-jacket on him. All of which may inhibit him just enough to be off his game on Sunday. Against a terrible Panthers team - the Saints need to take all the help they can get.
