TruSaint's Mock Draft (3 Viewers)

I don't think any QB in this draft is worth the #7 pick , you do?
I’m not sure yet. I want Cam Ward to be that, he’s got the size 6’2 , 225 lbs. ( same size as Milroe). Great mobility and can throw off platform well. And can make all of the throws. But I’ll need to see his pro day and all the vids etc.

Ward wont make it to pick 7 but if he is i wouldnt be upset if we take him. He has all the tools.

Not quoting to pick on you, but rather the subject. People, including those in front offices and current nfl coaches too, seem to be obsessed with measurables at QB. Height, Weight, Running ability.

I don't feel like this ever works well. Sure you want a strong arm and great accuracy but its also not a position like any other. You gotta have a 6th sense on defensive reads. If someone doesn't have that, I don't want em at QB at all. Not a single QB in this draft shows this 6th sense with authority. Drew Allar might be have it? (yes, that's a question). But Cam Ward, Milroe, Sanders, Beck, Ewers, Dart.. All of these guys seem like they don't have that 6th sense and rely soley on better physical ability to make things happen rather then playing chess and staying a step ahead of the defense. I just don't like that at all in the QB position.

If a QB isn't a good coach on the field with a strong arm and good accuracy, I simply don't think they're worth a 1st round pick at all. Seems like the NFL currently has obsessions with running backs who can make good throws to what is an obvious open receiver playing QB.

I thought this was off season stuff. We could draft anywhere between 1st and 32nd at this point. What are we doing? I know. I’ll just skip the rest of the mock draft threads. Just had to rubber neck a wreck I guess.

Would like to get a RB somewhere in the draft this year if possible
I would almost push for the best RB in the draft if we keep KK as the OC.
We need to get AK41 a break and allow us to use him as a weapon not just a powerhouse.

If Miller is healthy that helps us.
Big IF but now I'm questioning since DA put him on IR incorrectly if he is healthy than we first gave him credit for.

I don’t know, but putting pieces together seems like Miller might have come in out of shape and DA didn’t like his work ethic. Only thing that makes sense to me. I think back to when Willie Snead was so productive for us and Payton turned on him. Had to be even more behind the scenes than what we as reported.

There was with Willie Snead.

McMillan reminds me of Mike Evans in a way.
My Mountaineers played Arizona a few weeks ago and he was killing us .

Do we believe that Carr can play 17 games next year without getting injured? For this reason, I think we have to go QB in round 1. Unless we win a bunch of games causing us to lose out on the best Qb, then id be OK w/ McMillian. We def need a durable stud WR1.
So the other Quaterback wouldn’t get injured ever?

Do you think Carr doesn’t get injured? Draft a Qb, let him sit under Carr for a year, or hope that one of the young guys are the future

Using a first round pick for "injury insurance" is a horrible idea.

We've already got a guy to sit. I'm not saying Rattler is the long term answer, but I don't see a single QB coming out in 2025 as having a significantly higher upside than Rattler.

Tetairoa McMillan, I will pass on this guy. As a bandwagon Colorado Buffs fan. Go look at what happened when he went against Travis Hunter. 5rec 38yds.....yeah, I'll pass. Draft Sheduer Sander or trade up for Travis Hunter.
