i want absolutely no part of that. At all. Ever.

I dont know how i would react to being in a building, 20 stories up, and have it swaying and creakin' n crackin'.

But to your point- yeah its unreal to imagine a building doing exactly that, as designed, to alleviate the stresses of an earthquake.

You should see flat areas, like a parking lot. It looks like waves of water.

i think id lose it. seriously- like my brain wouldnt be able to process the waves in the ASPHALT because i know it supposed to be solid.

My brother in law was stationed in Japan when a big quake hit. He was on the 57th floor of an apt building when
it happened. He said one moment you're looking at the street. The next you're looking at the sun. He said
it scared him,but the buildings there are made to withstand them.
