It's like what Brees was successful at on the goal line the jump and put the ball across the goal line.... always thought more teams could do this especially with all the athletic QBs in the league however think I have only seen it like 2 other times Brady once forgot the second QB

Brees was the best at that. He perfected the play.

I know people don't like it but it shouldn't be banned. If you don't want it happening to you then stop the other team before that point. It's just another play and no different than a running back that has a couple linemen push him 3-4 extra yards on a play down field.
I agree with this. I don’t think it should be banned. Teams have stopped it before, they can stop it again.

Why didn’t we do it more? We rarely got inside the two yard line and our OL was in shambles.

That said, it’s illegal to aid the runner in high school. It’s an injury prevention thing. As soon as a top tier NFL QB gets hurt doing it, they’ll ban it.

Yep.

If you don't like your Defense getting blow up by it? Play better on the first three downs.

It's really that simple.

It will only get banned when defenses start injuring the offensive lineman in their attempt to stop it. Don't wish it to happen, but that's where its heading IMO.

GB is the team moving for it to be banned. Looks like the bills may get behind it as well which carries a good bit of weight because they are the team with the 2nd highest use rate on it.

It is dangerous in the sense if the Offensive lineman has his hand on the runners spine right at the moment of impact from a defender you could get a serious back injury.

That said it should not be banned if the teams are concerned about their own players safety then just don’t call it.

That’s simply yet another thing that’s gonna get flagged. Also what if as a lineman is “falling down” he gives the runner a shove trying to regain his balance.

Just leave it be teams simply have the option not to call it if they are against it.

The reason I don't like the play is because it's more of a rugby play. The ball carrier is not gaining ground on his own, he is being assisted by players pushing him. You should not be allowed to assist the ball carrier from moving forward

If every team was always highly successful at it then I'd say ban it. But it's really only the Eagles, right?

Not their fault that they're uniquely good at it, figure out a way to stop them.

Until it's made illegal, why aren't the Saints running it? Taysom on 3rd and 1, push him forward, first down. I don't understand why EVERY team isn't doing it.
because not every team has that personnel. josh allen is a machine and had trouble getting any yards on KC when trying. The eagles get 2-3 yards per try.

The Saints did it one time with Hill. They were inside their own 20 yard line. I think it was late in the 2nd or 4th quarter and they needed a first down to run out the clock. Hill gained about 10 yards on the play. The play looked like a rugby play.
