Nick Underhill already said he’s close to returning and Payton made it sound as though he’s coming back really soon.

I don't think it's QB, but all Payton's talk about liking the QB room, being satisfied with it, thinking it's good, is somewhat meaningless. He never said he definitely wouldn't change the QB room as far as I know. He can like the QB room more, be more satisfied with it, think it's better.

The talking heads believe that TB would cost us a 1st rounder to get him away from Denver. I find that a bit hard to believe in that Denver only gave a 6th rounder to Cryolina to acquire him.

There’s other guys, but i think these dudes in particular would fit extremely well in our current O. We dont really need burners/speed guys cause neither Taysom or Trevor have the arm for those types of WRs. In my opinion, we need chain moving, wide radius, hands catching possession receivers to fit our new look ball control run heavy O. Either way, i hope they make some kind of move before the deadline.

I know someone has mentioned this . With our uncertainty at qb do we waste draft capital on a rental player. Do the Saints feel confident enough in our qb's that adding a WR/TE will help any. I think if JW doesn't get hurt the answer is a definite yes. Will not be surprised if we stand pat and move forward as is. Thoughts?

The talking heads and Denver are smoking some of the Colorado kush if they think anyone is giving up a 1st for TB. There is not that much desperation out there.

If it's a WR/TE/QB, doesn't matter as much to me. I just don't want another huge contract heading into next year for someone that may or may not be able to contribute meaningfully the rest of THIS season.

Supposedly looking to get some help a receiver. But I’d also look at QB. I don’t think Book is close to ready to be your backup if Taysom was to come back & get hurt. Tight end is another I would look at.

I would say guard, but I like Throckmorton and Clapp if we got him back. We also picked up Forrest Lamp who I liked in the draft a few years back and started a ton of games for the Chargers
