Last season the XFL Championship game was in San Antonio, with zero fanfare. The telecast was a snooze fest.

I have great memories of the USFL overall. The year we had the Breakers was really fun.

I've lived in Houston for quite a while now, and kind of liked that I could support (in person) the Roughnecks of the XFL, and root for the Breakers in the USFL. Joining leagues will take that away from me. I REALLY enjoyed the Roughnecks in 2020 and 2023. The 2020 season had the makings of something special until covid killed it. That said, it sounds like if Houston gets a team, they will go with the USFL Gamblers moniker. So I guess that will make my choice easy. Beat'em Breaker Blue (in memory of the Doug Kershaw song they played at the games in 1984)!

I know they’ve been doing that, but this past season they started expanding the concept and half the teams started playing either in their own town or another hub. I think that Yulman would work perfect for the Breakers though

I do think Yuleman is the answer for the Breakers as a stand along. I don't think New Orleans would have been a good hub/partial hub though.

ABC, ESPN, ESPN2 and ESPN Deportes will showcase ESPN’s presentation of the spring football league. A doubleheader on Sunday, March 30 will kickoff the network’s UFL coverage in 2025 season. For the first time, the UFL Championship game will air on ABC in primetime on Sunday, June 14.
