Can you imagine a NFL player recording FOUR blocked kicks in one season? Bro, Hall of Famers MAY get four over a career. How do people not see this? It's like saying, "my daughter struck out 16 players in one game". They did not tell you that it is a last-minute sign-up league ball and not travel ball.

This also isn't 'they didn't tell you' situation, you know it was USFL and you know what means talent wise

How many blocked kicks were overall that season? how many did those 4 teams give up? There's a difference between there being 6 blocked kicks all year and he had 4 of them and there 26 blocked and he had 4

He reminds me of Pat Swilling coming around the corner. Boy, how I miss that defense...

In one season that defense surrendered a 26% third down conversion rate... or only 1 in 4 third downs converted to first down by opponents over the season. It was indeed a great defense.

How the in the heck, do you block 4 kicks in a season?!!

And the weird thing is, in the USFL he blocked 4 kicks while playing quarterback! They have some really zany, wacky rules.

My favorite one is the random, "take a shot when...." that is chosen each game. Really fun watching the players do shots of fireball in between plays.

The way you get better is to get snaps; if not NFL at least something competitive. Congratulations to the young man for going out and getting those snaps and developing his game. I hope his game sticks somewhere in the NFL if not here. I'd rather him than a 1st round talent that quits.
