Vehicle plows into crowd on Bourbon St., with 14 fatalities (3 Viewers)

I guess it depends on political intention. It's probably too early to call it terrorism barring new information.
One tv military analyst said the improvised devices if set to explode after person is stopped makes it a 3 level attack ( truck, guns, capture, explosion ) can be considered terrorism

As stated above the hotel evacuation

Ive seen other reports that say SUV .
So fluid. In any event, this puts it in more of a personal vehicle type situation I would think, huh? As opposed to, like I said, a commercial truck.

I envy you in this regard.
Oh, I'll be subjected sooner or later. I'm glued to the info right now.

Though, to be honest, I feel like some of the local stuff I'm hearing is a little "behind" what may be being reported elsewhere.

ETA: I was on CBS. I just turned to Fox 8.

They keep showing an Earth Cam shot of a police-manned cordoned off area on Bourbon. Only thing I can identify is a Krazy Corner Balcony sign which is 640 Bourbon.

I am now going crazy trying to monitor all the local stations.

"Device planted at Orleans and Bourbon"

Travers Mackel is interpreting Cantrell's remarks as meaning domestic terrorism.

NOPD's "special ops" bomb squad unit just arriving at FQ. FBI is the "lead"

Just remembered I've stayed at Royal Sonesta on NYE about 20 years ago. I loved the fireworks on the dueling barges on the river accompanied by the band standing on the railing near JAX Brewery. That was a great experience.

ETA: Just a little light thought here. It is so weird seeing twins Fletcher and Travers on split screen.
