I would laugh so hard if this really does happen

This has to happen! This would certainly fulfill the natural progression for the Green Bay franchise QB.
I disagree. The Plan A was JJ last year until he got injured. If you sign A-A-Ron, then you have wasted 2 years of JJ’s rookie contract. If they think a washed A-A-Ron is their ticket with an “opened window” currently, then SKOL it up!!! I’m good with watching it blow up in their faces.I think it’d be a good idea for Minnesotta to sign Rodgers and let McCarthy focus on rehab and learning the game for one more year. The Vikings are strong contenders and it would be a real gamble to go with an unproven McCarthy coming off the ACL.
I see it as protecting your investment in McCarthy more than anything. I’m no pro athlete but I tore my knee up when I was around McCarthy’s age and it took probably two years before it felt strong enough to run full speed and pivot. Can’t imagine after one season his knee is ready to be taking hits from NFL defenders. If the Vikings thought JJ would be ready, i doubt they’d be pursuing Rodgers in the first place.I disagree. And that we’ll be defeating the Vikings in the NFC Championship Game next season. If this happens, this confirms we live in a simulation...
‘Rodgers, BACK ACROSS THE MIDDLE, AND INTERCEPTED.’And that we’ll be defeating the Vikings in the NFC Championship Game next season.
Called this a month ago. lol
History repeats.
Favre 2.0
Their team was really good last year and Darnold did great until he had the pressure of a playoff game. Rodgers has playoff experience. If their defense plays the same, along with their offense, JJ most likely won’t be able to have the success that Rodgers would possibly give them. That’s how I see it. Sometimes you have to push all of your chips and go all in. No risk it, no biscuitI see it as protecting your investment in McCarthy more than anything.
