N/S Vikings considering signing Aaron Rodgers (48 Viewers)

Good move by minny if it happens. Roger's would benefit playing indoors for the majority of his games.

It doesn't matter if a year of JJ McCarthy is wasted. A smart team doesn't put a win now team in the hands of a qb with zero NFL Experience. They know better than anyone what he is capable of.

And how long would it be after leaving the 'queens that he gets investigated for fraud?

Hey, if you're gonna ape the guy, ya might as well go whole hog.

McCarthy tore his meniscus not ACL. Even if they did a repair vs a menisectomy then he should healed as it’s been nearly 7-8 months. So did he have a set back?

Or do they just not want to “waste” this team on an unproven rookie?
Thought it was an ACL for some reason. I know he had a second surgery in November, but his recovery timeline didn’t change.

Even if he’s healthy I feel like he would benefit sitting another year and watching one of the GOATs operate. McCarthy is still really young. 22 years old compared to Nix who is 25. They’re in no hurry with him.

And that we’ll be defeating the Vikings in the NFC Championship Game next season.

‘Rodgers, BACK ACROSS THE MIDDLE, AND INTERCEPTED.’
If any news ever deserved a CHAMPIONSHIP post, it's this news.

My first thought when I saw someone predict Rodgers would end up with the Vikings was deju vu all over again.

Former Packers QB signs with Vikings after a very short stint with the Jets = CHAMPIONSHIP.

C'mon Vikings don't let us down.

My son suffered a bucket-handle lateral meniscus tear in January last year, and participated in HS football camp by early June. No swelling, no pain since. McCarthy has been healthy for a long time by now.

Rodgers is a washed up cancer by this point. I'm not a big believer in McCarthy as the "franchise QB" type, but I'd rather roll with him and see what I have while he's on his rookie contract if I were a Viking coach/fan. Having said that, I hope they sign Rodgers so we can watch them burn.

Their team was really good last year and Darnold did great until he had the pressure of a playoff game. Rodgers has playoff experience. If their defense plays the same, along with their offense, JJ most likely won’t be able to have the success that Rodgers would possibly give them. That’s how I see it. Sometimes you have to push all of your chips and go all in. No risk it, no biscuit
Man, Bruce Arians is lame for coming up with that. "No risk it, no biscuit" Who cares about biscuits? They're fine, but we're talking about biscuits here. Why is there risk involved with biscuits and why is that my reward for risk? These are the things I think about when the power goes out and I'm sitting in the dark.
