Vilma reads SR (1 Viewer)

Vilma if you're reading I wish you guys would come on the forums and post every now and then. That would mean the world to us Who Dats! I understand if you guys can't do because of your agent. But you're in good company over here.

I work 65 hours a week so I don't get a chance to read the forums much.. But I know who dats will make a whole thread when yall post. Loomis is you're reading make them make it happen!

Mr. Vilma,

They can say what they want, but they can't take away the trophy. Stay strong bruthah, and know that NOLA has got your back.

This shows that we need to be mindful of how we criticize our players. They are human too. We could very well be affecting their game with to much negativity and hate in some threads. Not that we can't voice an opinion, just do it with tact ya know.

After I read his post and this thread, I decided to tweet that to JV. He is just another victim of Roger Goodell's stupid ego. But his plan is slowly falling apart, the media is starting to see it and Goodell is trying to cover his own butt for all the lies and manipulations of the so-called "Bountygate" investigation. The players and fans are standing together in this until the end! The truth will come out and we will prevail.

Oh BTW, Saints players and staff are very aware of and even visit SR. We should always be mindful of that before we post.

I agree with everything except the part I underlined.

I stand with you john. You are the quarterback of the defense bra!
Make them show you the goods so this whole farce can be exposed for what it is, a witch hunt to fade the heat off the NFL and Roger.
You can't hide forever Mr. Goddell.

I have to inject a Vilma story here. I attended an sponsored event at the Dome where Vilma and PT were there to talk and to sign autographs. I tagged a couple of pages of them in my Super Bowl season annual for them to sign. It was real structured, like visiting the Soup Nazi. You lined up, handed the item to autographed to an assistant. While they were autographing you stood behind them and they snapped a photo. While that was going on, PT signed his page and slid the magazine over to Vilma. He signed a page and gave me this Whisky Tango Foxtrot look. As I left the stage I realized they didn't flip to the page I tagged for Vilma. Instead he signed a photo that had him at the bottom of a pile, being crushed on the turf with Stephen Jackson on top of him. They refused to let me back up to have him sign the correct page (it was a very regimented system). I whined enough, like a ten-year-old, until they did. I felt like Ralphie on A Christmas Story scrambling back up the slide to ask for the Red Rider BB gun. :ezbill:

Thanks for the extra autograph, John. I didn't mean to offend you. :9:
