You really shouldn’t get to bet on things that are scripted(if it’s true that the probowl is scripted)

To this day, one of my biggest "why didn't I pull the trigger on this???" wagering regrets still involves a scripted event.

10 years ago......WrestleMania 30. New Orleans, I made the trip down there. I went on Bovada's website and was looking at the wagering odds, just for fun. John Cena was an underdog against Bray Wyatt, and Brock Lesnar was a much larger underdog against The Undertaker, who at that point still had an undefeated streak at WrestleMania and nobody was really giving any consideration to thinking it would be ending at that particular event.

So almost as a joke, I clicked on Cena and Lesnar in a parlay (which isn't allowed anymore), just to see what the payout would be. Back then, Bovada's minimum deposit was $50 (in recent years it's been $20), so a $50 wager on that parlay would have produced over $3,000 in winnings.

I gave it semi-serious consideration..... trying to tell myself that since I would actually be at the event, it would be "funny" to be able to say I took that wager.....and it's not like I wasn't going to unnecessarily spend money on other stuff during my time down there.

But.... when it was all said and done, I just couldn't do it. Because, in my mind, John Cena winning was a possibility, but there was "no chance" they were going to end Undertaker's streak just yet, and I didn't want to just "throw away" a minimum of $50. Yeah 😒.

I didn’t know you could bet on wrestling. And yeah, no way The Undertaker was losing that match.

I've noticed some talking heads says when KC wins then is Mahomes the new GOAT dethroning Brady.

Now look at the NFL as if it was WWE. The WWE determines how long Champions have the belt and normally at a certain point someone new emerges to challenge them, "the good guy" and the Champ has a heel turn. Brady had a heel turn and Mahomes is going through it now while Purdy is the good guy this year. The only way small market teams get a chance is if they have a good story to sell.

I've already parlayed KC moneyline with Over 47.5, but I would not be at all shocked if the Niners won and Purdy became fully established as a household name. In 2022, I kept expecting the shine to come off at some point, but it just never really has.

Seriously?
Now this?
There was a thread two weeks ago that said the League was fixing it for a Ravens/49ers matchup.

The Problem with this conspiracy is that once you make it to February or even the playoffs, a story naturally develops. For every team.

2018 changed everything for me.

Every game rigged? No.

But absolutely some games are, and no one plays in or wins the Super Bowl without the NFL being ok with it.

NGL, if The Chiefs win, I’m putting Mahomes in the GOAT conversation. TB12 was a serial cheater and I give zero credibility to a cheater. Just my $.02

Good grief...

You can see that they're obviously just kidding around.

Even the linked quote in the article says he wasn't serious. And Gateway Pundit is a site built to propagate fake news.
