Watch: Hot Mic Catches Peyton Manning’s Son Saying NFL Pro Bowl Was “Scripted” (VIDEO) (1 Viewer)

The Pro Bowl Games?? Let it be scripted. No one cares anyway. It's was the least-watched Pro Bowl outside of 2021's virtual "Celebration".

This.

I actually did catch some of "the Pro Bowl Games", only because it came on immediately after the marathon of SB highlights that was playing on NFL network on Sunday.

I mean.....I guess maybe they were having fun, but for me it was completely uninteresting, and I turned it off after about 15 minutes.

Not surprising. Of course I’m not someone who believes things are fixed, but certainly massaged for a nice script and to keep interest. For instance SF will have a hard time because of the multitude of Swifties pulling for KC. The NFL would love to keep that population coming back for games. So not saying it’s scripted, but the NFL will give KC every chance to win it

NGL, if The Chiefs win, I’m putting Mahomes in the GOAT conversation. TB12 was a serial cheater and I give zero credibility to a cheater. Just my $.02

Brady wasn't even the best Quarterback of his generation. He's a nobody who never gets a chance to develop without Belichick's defense and the greatest field goal kicker in NFL history.

I'll leave the first sentence unbolded, because some may very well think Peyton (or Brees?) was the best actual QB in that era.

But the second sentence is just absolute nonsense, and is completely obliterated by his 7 championships (one outside of New England) and high-level play until age 45.

I understand not liking someone for various reasons....but get real.

You genuinely believe Brady is Brady without getting Hall of Fame defenses and the literal GOAT of placekickers to give him time to develop? You think Brady is still Brady if he had been drafted by the Lions?

Circumstances matter.

No one can say they expected Drew Brees to do what he did when the Saints signed him. He showed some potential at San Diego, but not first ballot Hall of Fame record shattering most ridiculous passer of all time potential. Brees needed an offensive mind who could build an offense that utilized his strengths. It was clear Brees eventually mastered his craft and put up absurd numbers regardless of who claimed to be the OC, but is Brees' the same guy he was in New Orleans if he goes to the Dolphins and has Nick Saban as HC?

All these guys need help. It is what it is.

Two weeks ago, this was claimed as the Super Bowl conspiracy.

Outside of Randy Moss, Tom Brady turned a bunch of dudes into solid to above-average WRs for 20 years. Gronk is another future HOFer, but I'm gonna chalk a good bit of that up to spending a decade with Brady (similar to the Brees effect on Jimmy Graham from 2011 to 2014).

If we're gonna start playing the "well look what kinda help he had in the beginning" game.......then does Mahomes get points subtracted for walking into an already-established AFC contender in 2017 with one of the best coaches in the league?
