I was going to post last night but got exhausted from all of this that the Saints needed to extend Watson for another 4 years and offer up an 8 year deal at the 39 million dollar rate.

I didn't realize that robust offer would not compete with the 46 million 5 year fully guaranteed deal.

We were never going there and reportedly the Falcons pushed back on this and is the real reason he isn't going to be a Falcon.
