That 9-8 record was against the easiest schedule in the league.

I know it was, but the poster said this is a 5 to 6 win or at best 8-9 win roster. So I assume he took the schedules into account. The NFC South has been a bad division for several years and will be for at least several more. So our schedule is going to continue to be relatively easy as it has been for several years.

At any rate, if someone really thinks this is a 5 to 6 or even 8 win roster then DA getting to 7 wins in year one, 9 wins in year two, and even 5 wins this year must mean he was meeting or exceeding what should be expected out of this roster. Which I think we all know isn't true.

I hate to say this in December 2024 but next year has to be a trust the process year in 2025 I want to see us win 1 or 2 games max. We are a mess financially and talent wise the only quick fix is to draft well next few drafts.

Things can change depending on this off season but as of right now we should just tank it in 2025.

We have zero talent specifically on offense.

Our recievers including JJ wouldn't even make the roster of most teams.

There is no threat at any point one of our "weapons" will make a play. Teams are well aware of this and just sell out against the run or blitz because NOBODY scares them.

And to all those who wanted us so win these pointless games (looking at you Giants game) we still only have the 10th pick in the draft.

This roster is talentless with the 10th overall pick. YUCK.

The talent level isn’t zero - but I gotta say it’s as close as it’s been to zero since 1999 - and that team had a HOF LT and LaRoi Glover.

Watching today felt pretty depressing. I don’t care that they didn’t win, it’s just that they are so far from a contending team. They aren’t even competitive against the bottom of the league.

I know we are years away from being a contender but it’s a bummer to see how far from competitive we are right now.

Tampa will probably put 50 on us again next Sunday.

Heck, just by helping the offense stay on the field at this point will help the defense out. But, yeah we have holes everywhere on D. Biggest sin I’d no game changer pass rusher. Opponents OC is scared of no one on the saints D.

We need help everywhere. The Saints are at least a three year rebuilding project.
