NFL Draft We need a Nose Tackle (1 Viewer)

Well now that the Super Bowl is over and we can now sign Kubiak, I wonder how many 49ers FA's will follow him here?
This is a list of players that could come here in free agency.

QB- Brandon Allen
QB- Sam Darnold
WR- Ray-Ray McCloud
WR- Jauan Jennings
WR- Chris Conley
TE- Charlie Woerner
TE- Ross Dwelley
G- Jon Feliciano
OT- Matt Pryor
OL- Ben Bartch
DT- Javon Kinlaw
DT- Sebastian Joseph-Day
LB- Oren Burks

These are some players that could follow Klint Kubiak here. They are mostly mid-tier FA's. Feliciano & Pryor would probably cost a little more to sign. Which of these players would you like to see the Saints sign?

Free agency is coming soon. The Saints will try to fill all the holes in free agency . Hopefully they can accomplish this before the draft. The Saints like to go into the draft and pick best player available at positions they can use depth at. I'm hoping that we at least re-sign G Max Garcia and RT Cameron Irving. Would be nice if we could sign G Jon Feliciano and let him and Garcia battle it out for the LG spot. Hurst is not the answer there or at LT. We could also sign OL Ben Bartch for depth. There are a couple more FA O-Linemen that will be on the market that could be affordable and play decent in OT Matt Pryor and G Cody Whitehair.

Here are some under the radar FA's that the Saints could try to bring in. They may help out on offense and defense.

WR- Kendrick Bourne Patriots ( A consistent WR over his career)
TE- Irv Smith Jr. Bengals (Could be decent depth and is more athletic than what we have on the roster)
OT- Yosuah Nijman Packers (Can play both Tackle spots)
DL- Jordan Phillips Bills (Could help strengthen run defense)
DE- Dorance Armstrong Jr. Cowboys (Can help bluster the pass rush)
LB- Sione Takitaki Browns (A decent replacement with more experience in case we lose Baun in free agency)

This might be my solidified mock draft. In the first pencil in any tackle that falls to us.

In the second we make what looks to be a reach by taking Logan Lee DT Iowa. But he really fits our defense.

Then we get offensive line depth to address our injuries.

And a strong safety who plays the run and pass well, Omar Brown. Not many safeties in this class are good against the run. And this guy is an under the radar player. We’ve done well with those defensive backs recently.

AJ Barner is a decent dual threat TE who will be better at blocking early on.

Joshua Cephus gives a deep threat in addition to Shaheed. Olave is also but he’s always double covered.

Nathan Thomas for more o line depth.

And Isaiah Davis is a pro ready back who excels at zone runs.

No trades because we can’t afford to trade up and we never trade down.

I really like the 3 top picks. The rest I don't know too much about. But Fashanu will be gone before we pick at 14. Lee is projected as a 5th rounder. I don't believe the Saints will reach that far in the second round. Cooper Beebe will be taken at the back end of the 1st or at the top of the 2nd round. I think the Saints will go with either Taliese Fuaga or Jared Verse in the 1st whichever is still there when we pick. Most mocks have Fashanu going in the top 10 and some have Fuaga going in the top 10. I'm hoping one or the other fall to us at 14.

The Saints may not need to spend an early pick on DT/NT. We have Jack Heflin, John Penisini which are signed to futures deals and P.J. Mustipher who is an exclusive rights free agent. Hopefully one or all three can show some progress that would afford the Saints to keep them and shore up the run defense. If the Saints do sign another DT/NT in FA, I wouldn't mind seeing them going after Javon Kinlaw or Sebastian Joseph-Day. Then look for a day three value pick like Logan Lee or Evan Anderson.

I was looking at the list of Saints FA's and I'm wondering what's everyone's thoughts on which FA's the Saints should re-sign. I would like to see them tender a contract to NT P.J. Mustipher, he is an exclusive rights FA. FB Adam Prentice is a restricted FA, The Saints might let him go to a team that tenders him a contract, beings that he may not fit the new offensive system. CB Shemar Jean-Charles is also a restricted FA. Haven't formed an opinion on him one way or the other. Lynn Bowden is another restricted FA. He did pretty well last season and would fit Kubiak's system with his versatility. I believe the Saints would tender him. Everyone else on the list is a an unrestricted FA.

WR Keith Kirkwood Could be re-signed to fill the slot WR.
TE Jimmy Graham He's retiring
OL Max Garcia Re-sign for depth.
OT Cameron Irving Re-sign for depth
G Trai Turner I believe he's done.
DE Kyle Phillips He gone.
LB Ryan Connelly I believe he's gone.
LB Zack Baun Would like to see him re-signed.
LB Andrew Dowell Re-sign for special teams and depth.
LB Ty Summers Re-sign for depth and special teams.
CB Isaac Yiadom Proved his worth last season when Marshon went down with injury. Needs to be re-signed.
CB Lonnie Johnson Jr. He gone.
S Johnathan Abram Could be re-signed for depth or let go.
DB Ugo Amadi He could also re-signed for depth or let go.
