It's also hard to win games when your defense only gives up 12 points and 15 points and yet you are 0-2 in those games. The offense just has to be better and they have to not make dumb mistakes on special teams. The only reason they even had the lead is because the defense got the offense the ball back around the 50 with 3 minutes left to go.
Brother, that's like saying " I blocked all Mike Tyson's punches and got in some of my own except that last one where I let my arms down and he knocked me out" The O scored enough to win and had the lead with a min left. It's been a while since we had the lead with under 1:30 and the D closed it out for us

We've lost 2 games in the last minute. Hardly a team in disarray. I will remind everyone that this is the NFL. We need to get a little healthy but we are capable of beating anyone. Yall need to calm the hell down. There is a winning streak coming up ahead
We need to get A LOTTA healthy.
At the moment the health report is going in the wrong direction.
And I suspect we havenā€™t seen the last of the key injuries that are draining our depth dry. šŸ˜¢

I should care about the Saints losing again. And I do. I care about Erik McCoy being out again. And the new injuries.

But going through Katrina - AGAIN - is taking a little precedence for me.

Except the Saints always lose close games.

Hard to be a good team when you have to be up by 9+ points at the end of a game to get the win.
Your offense can score points and don't have to wait until the end of games in the 3rd n 4th quarter it would help a lot.

I am really sorry youā€™re going through this stuff again. Prayers sent for real!

Voice of reason but unfortunately many on this board have PTSD resulting from past Saints letdowns. We just shot ourselves in the foot too much today and then you add the injuries. It is honestly amazing we actually had the lead so late in the game and probably should have won it. I guess the refs owed the Falcons one from last week's "No call pass interference" in the Chiefs game.

I know this thread isn't about Katrina or what NC is going through at the moment.

But we all moved up here when New Orleans was under water, and we picked this spot in NC to get away from the coast. Mountains. A hurricane can't hurt one hundreds of miles from the coast in the mountains. But it happened again. Now homeless, jobless, and lost all possessions once again.

Below is from my dad. Last I heard he made a run for South Carolina earlier today. Sister is still in the red cross shelter as far as I know. The videos are Katrina all over again.

"https://www.facebook.com/share/p/7QQCVQXGb8KMPeZY/?mibextid=xfxF2i the building in the video to the left that's completely underwater that was actually my next job. And then the video that shows the coffee truck, that's the truck I was training on last week and she owns that building that's underwater"

We've had a one score lead with two minutes remaining when the other team got the ball six times under Dennis Allen. We are 2-4 in those games, with both wins coming in 2022 (against Atlanta).

We've had a one score lead with four minutes remaining when the other team got the ball (at least once) ten times under Dennis Allen. We are 3-7 in those games, with the two wins against Atlanta in 2022 and the other one last year against the Bears.

It's the best when the Saints win. It's the worst when the Saints lose. I don't think the praise was overdone. I don't think the criticisms were unwarranted.
