Going to do football squares for the national title game for my daughter’s travel ball team. Going to start doing the board now. $50 a square. Payouts are going to be $750 a quarter and final score so includes overtime. But with a catch. No one ever likes to draw bad numbers. If you get stuck with:

Thoughts on this first game today? A day or two ago I put a little bit on Vikings ML +150. I believe it currently stands at +145. They are 3 point dogs at Bengals with o/u 41.

I just feel like Browning’s success has to even out at some point and Flores’ defense might be the one to do it with all of his blitz packages that confuse offenses. I feel like there’s a good chance it’s low scoring since both teams have so much at stake as far as playoff implications and it’s an outdoor game up North in mid December. Even though weather and wind isn’t bad today. Could be a field position game with both teams not getting crazy and overly aggressive with so much to lose.

I also did a small parlay with the money line on Broncos +185. Long shot but I feel it’s good value at +612 if Vikes and Broncos win outright.

I worry about the Ohio defense (it’s legit), and I usually take them every single year in bowl season as they’re normal a money machine. No way anyone can take them today and trust them with a 3rd string QB, missing their best top two wideouts, etc.

It’s all a guess on them.

GA Southern was terrible down the stretch after being in the driver seat to play in the conference championship game.

Just playing for fun but it’s a horrible game to bet.
