Is there some rule that teams can't QB sneak anymore?

The Lions took three downs to score because they didn't try to sneak, and now the Jets don't do the sneak on 4th and inches and turn it over.

I will never understand why coaches don't automatically do a QB sneak on any 4th and less than a yard play. It's such an astronomically higher percentage play than handing it off in the backfield and the injury risk is basically nothing.

I tell people all the time I’d have that play built in to my offense that every time we get to 4th and inches we automatically run to the line and run QB sneak. Never allowing the defense to adjust personnel. It would probably work 95% of the time. It’s so hard to stop.
