Welcome to NOLA Kendre Miller (1 Viewer)

I love how quickly he hits the open hole but also impressed with how patient he is and lets his blockers set it up. Didn't see much on his receiving ability in that video though.
He catches with his hands. It looks natural. Just didn't do it much because of their offense. He only ran very generic RB routes when he did. Not the greatest in space but has the size/athletism to make something happen.

Watched a bunch of film and discussions. Here's what I gather.

For 220 lbs he doesn't have elite power but he's hard to bring down if he's not squared up. He has excellent athletism for that size. Not the best acceleration or change of direction but a good blend with his size. He's really good at setting people up on blocks. He has good vision to see the defense and misdirect at the line. Lots of dead legs and spin moves. Not the greatest vision at finding the best hole maybe though, hard to say. Didn't look good going horizontal. I think he struggles with change of direction for cutting holes in zone. Probably expected because of his size. Doesn't look like he jukes people much without a blocker to set him up. He has the size/athletism to just beat people though. Hope he's 100% healthy, think he can take full advantage of good blocking. Maybe not hitting home runs but keeping the chains moving.

Are you effing kidding me? Two of the three draft choices the Saints have made have had major knee injuries. I give up. I thought they learned that lesson from the Hakua khahiki (misspelled) days. C’mon guys! You can do better.
Almost every player in the draft has a history with injuries. We just think we only draft injury prone players because we all do research on the players we draft. I'm sure I could find injury histories for many players if I researched each player in more detail.
Miller's injury isn't that bad. Many wanted Spears - including me - he has suffered multiple torn ACL's.
This isn't chess and knee injuries aren't the end of the world these days. Heck a friend of mine has torn his ACL standing at a bar ordering beer. Life happens...

Agreed but idk. I just watched a good 20 minutes of film and he is just joking and spinning and making every linebacker and safety miss and grasping at air lol. He’s very nimble. Honestly the more I watch the more I see a stronger Kamara. His balance is outstanding

His spin and juke look very similar to leveon to me tho

That's what I was thinking, I mean, he has a little bit of Kamara in him too. Great vision. His top speed surprised me a bit. He can move.

Sounds obvious maybe but his running, slitheriness and contact balance remind me of Kamara a lot. He looks faster though but perhaps not quite the same power....and the ability as a receiving weapon out of the backfield (or slot) is to be determined.
