I will be surprised if the Saints do not go after one or two OL after final cuts. Our depth remains very concerning on the O line and I suspect there are several veteran reserves who are cut around the league who would grade out higher than what we have in those 7, 8, 9 spots on the OL. The only keeper IMO is Saldieri and that is because he is a rookie with potential. The other guys are just that, guys, who should be easily upgraded!

Jameis not getting cut, a trade would be the most I see cause Haener is not going to be back up as of now and Taysom is better at his "joker" role. I can see Tre'quan getting put on 53 then going to IR then bring Kirkwood onto the 53 . ...I like alot of what everybody else was saying..Who Dat ⚜

At first, I was more concerned about the LB group. But now, it’s the O line depth.

So for now, here’s out I see it:

The “loser” outta the Peat\Hurst competition will be OL6. Yeah, I know Pete’s always hurt, but I hope he wins, cause Hurst is more versatile n can play nearly every position on the O line! So he’s actually much MORE valuable as a backup!

Dunno how healthy he’s been, but if he is Throck will likely make the 53.He is what he is: a solid dependable backup who knows the system.

Dunno how he’s done, but Im hoping Garcia makes it as the backup to McCoy at C. I want Ruiz to STAY at RG n do NOT want him to be the backup at C!
So again, hopefully Garcia makes it as OL 8.

Rook Nick Saldiveri was one of my favs coming outta our draft. Love me some big O linemen who can play, n I’m tellin ya, Nick can PLAY! Unfortunately, the former college RT suffered a calf injury in OTAs, n lost valuable time n reps in da process. He’s healthy now, n has moved inside to G, which I think is a great position for him! He also has the potential to play at C, but I don’t think he’ll get to play there til next season.

Last spot will go to RT2 behind Ram. Not certain who it’ll be. Thought n hoped it would be Landon, but I think he’s been dinged up. Dunno much about the others, like Norton either. But it’s important for us to have a solid backup RT behind Ram.
