Haha! Ok. Well that definitely answers my questionHe sucks. That's why no one has signed him.
He's just another Denzel Mims. Add him to the pile of big bodied WR athletes that failed in the NFL that fans tell themselves 'just need a change of scenery'
Wellā¦..when your roster is loaded with <6ā less than 200 lb guys anyone over that height and weight seems like ābig dudeā. The Saints roster is loaded with small, thin, fast guys.I'm 6'2" 200 lbs. I don't think of myself as a "big dude" so I'd say if we're looking for a tough "big dude" for over the middle, look elsewhere. It's not like he's stood out so far, and I just don't see 6'2", 200 lbs as a big WR. I'd like 6'4" 245-250 or 6'1"or 2"-ish but about 2&1/2 feet wide at the shoulders and muscled up to 220-230 to call a guy a "big dude" at WR.
Iām 6ā3ā 250, Iāll take the spot. Vet minimum is fine as money isnāt my thing.I'm 6'2" 200 lbs. I try to provide a service.Haha! Ok. Well that definitely answers my question
When it comes down to it, most teams don't have room for 'development guys'. Rosters are tight and those on it have to be functional contributors.I would love to have him try to grow as a Saint. We have room in the WR room for a development guy.
You're not wrong, but he may be a better bottom of the roster guy than what we have. While he can't run the whole route tree well, his quickness and size makes him an ideal slot guy running a slant on a 3rd and 5-7. That's been a hole in our offense for a bit. Maybe Moore and his staff could coach him up to his potential. When it comes down to it, most teams don't have room for 'development guys'. That's why fans bemoan 'high potential' players being released come cut down day, while the truth is that most of them never catch on for good reason.
But this one went to LSUAgain that just sounds like falling victim to the physical profile fallacy. Size and quickness can be had in abundance in the NFL, it nether demands nor merits automatic inclusion on a roster.
