What would you think if saints went after Jared Goff. He did pretty good under mcvay and I think he would be a good fit with payton

Taysom was 3-1 last season. In 4 games Winston was 2-2. We will have similar production with Taysom.

I just think folks wanna see a QB that has has a big arm and can for 400 plus yards and five tds. No matter who comes in, it ain't happening. The Saints have to work with what they have.

What about one of the Mannings (Archie, Payton OR Eli)? Warren Moon is available. Randle Cunningham could be a good dual threat.

I really think winston has a high ceiling. I dont think he has reached his potential. Goff has hit his ceiling.

It wasnt for Hekker saving his butt in the NFCCG, he would of never had the chance to utterly wet the bed like no one ever has in the SuperBowl

Think about it...the Rams thought so little of him that they offloaded 2 first round picks + a 3rd...along with him to get Stafford. So we now want to give up ? to bring him over...keep in mind he's still under contract as well, so we'd be stuck with him for at least next season as well.

Goff's major problem in LA was that he was never able to learn the offense, so he constantly had McVay in his ear calling the offense and reading the defense for him.

That's exactly the kind of QB Payton will love, a QB that cannot learn a complicated system.

I could see Goff being relatively successful under Payton, but I don't see us trading for him.
