A sliced a bunch up and cooked them down with rum and sugar to toss on ice cream after supper tonight, but not before we dipped a couple baskets in chocolate. Up to that point, we had been snacking on them. Now we are 24 hours later since we brought them home and still have a crapload left.

How do you store these things? What else can I cook? I'm thinking a cobbler would be kick arse. Give me some ideas, folks.

give them to me

to bag them and freeze them..... follow this tip.

Wash them, but BE SURE TO LET THEM DRY! before bagging them. That way they won't be a big clump when you try to eat them later.

Seems like a duh factor, but it really helps!

freeze them...good for sauce after you thaw them.

/how much did you bring back yesterday?

Belgian waffles.

Fill up a blender with them, add just a touch of lime juice and a little sugar. Turn them into strawberry syrup to pour over a huge glob of French vanilla icecream atop those big waffles. Slice up a bunch of them and toss on top of that.

You can use store bought frozen waffles or make your own. Either way.
