What is the differance, personell wise, between the 3-4 and the 4-3 defense (1 Viewer)

The front 3 are so integral to the 3-4. Look at New England, Pittsburgh and San Diego. They best 3-4 defenses have monsters on their line. Cleveland run the 3-4. Their back 7 is actually excellent but they finished 30th or below in most defensive categories due to their poor front 3. If they had Ty Warren, Richard Seymour and Vince Wilfork they would be a top 5 unit. It all starts up front on defnse, but even more so in the 3-4
