For me it has to be NOVEMBER 29 1987 . After all the years of losing we were finally a winner. I have to confess I cried when time expired. For all the newer fans SAINTS 20 STEELERS 16 our 9'th win in our first winning season. We finished 12-3 in a strike shortened season. If you guys think its bad now after three 7-9 seasons you all should have been around in the 60's,70's & 80's. It was tough being a DIEHARD SAINTS FAN. Well that's my trip down memory lane thanks for listening.

Gleason's block is hard to beat, but three games in 2009 deserve honorable mention. The comeback in Miami, the blowout against the Pats, and that ridiculous play Meachem made in Washington.

Reopening of the dome. Gleason's blocked punt. It meant so much to a lot of people. Has to be #1

I was in the dome you could feel the emotion in the stadium. This would be my second choice. But after 20 strait years of ridicule I will stick with my first choice. It was tough being a fan then.

Personally, I don't see how it's not #1?!?! People lost their lives, families, and homes. That game had so much more meaning than it just being a football game

How could it not be the return to the Superdome after Katrina? I mean I get the first winning season, and that 3 game stretch was amazing. Heck I can understand even Ditka getting fired. The day Benson bought the Saints. But those are all second place. The return to the dome in general and Gleason has to be the moment.

I thought we were going to get penalized when Tony Elliot kicked the ball to let the time run out. No body on the field that mattered saw him do it though.

Return to dome, followed by 09 beating of the pats.. 2000 when we were beating the 49ers 28-0 going into halftime and thought Blake to horn was gonna be like rice to Montana...ahh so young

The Return to the Dome. Unreal. One of the best moments in sports history. Not just Saints or football. Hell it was one of the best moments in life in general.

There has been a bunch, but being 34 I was young when the Dome Patrol was in action. I have memories of those times (like blowing the playoff game against the Eagles), but in more recent times.

1) re-opening of the Dome

2) Thumping the pats

3) When Brooks took over and we beat STL at STL when no one on the planet gave us a chance, and on prime time

4) Tracy Porter doing his thing against Favre and Manning

5) Deuce running all over TB with a boot on his leg in prime time

There is so many because I live and die with the Saints at times it seems haha

Nothing wrong with that. Good choice. I was just a kid but my nerves were bad. My heart was pounding. We were actually NUMBER ONE in defense; believe it or not.

Now narrow it down to one :hihi:
