What is your most favorite non playoff moment in SAINT history. (3 Viewers)

I know this is playoffs but when Reggie took the wheel route for a long TD in Chicago I thought we had a chance to come back and win and go to the Super Bowl.

Non-playoffs is easy. Gleason.

That is a great moment I had forgotten about.

THANKS

Aaron Stecker kick return in Tampa. Catching thenball, falling on his butt, getting I'm up and taking it to the house!!

Man you guys are incredible with all these great moments love reminiscing with all you fans.

Mine was this past season. Against the Seahawks. We were sitting in the endzone right in front of the incomplete pass that would've won them the game. There's more story there for me and my wife than I have the energy to type right now, but that was a great moment for me and her getting the up-close view of the play that sealed the win.

The Gleason moment was huge, no doubt. The Pats win in 09 was as well. But my personal #1 has to be Saints 42 Cowboys 17 in Texas Stadium. To me, thats the game that sent a message that maybe not today.....maybe not this season.....but somethin big is on the horizon for the Payton/Brees - led Saints. And i got to witness it in person.

and then tossed it into the crowd. I was at that game. Definitely my favorite moment!

I was there the dome went wild good moment. He was protecting our quarter back to all the ones saying he cost us the game.

Haven't read this thread, but I'm sure the reopening has been mentioned a lot (as it should be). So for the sake of saying something different, I loved our "coming out" party in 2006 when we completely embarrassed the Super Bowl contender Dallas Cowboys in prime time in Texas Stadium. That's when they finally showed the county they're for real. It was basically the 2006 version of what we did to the Pats in 09.

I still remember that unreal Reggie Bush march into the end zone, just juked the entire team. Loved us in the all blacks blowing out those idiots in front of their own cocky fans

EDIT: Upon further review, I see that game was mentioned mere posts above me, lol. Yep that was a great game!

Really enjoyed watching Bill Parcells on the on the side lines in that one. It was of admiration of his pupil and realization of the fact that his team wasn't that good.

i remember Bill saying how football can be a "humbling" game after that....

That Dallas/N.O. has rivalry has been oddly fascinating over the last decade-plus. We beat them in that 06 game to really put Payton's Saints on the map........09 they end our win streak........in 2010 we beat them on Thanksgiving after ihinitially blowing a decent lead to their backup qb.......2012 we beat them without Payton........2013 we destroy them in the "most first downs ever" game........2014 they beat us on SNF to really drive home the fact that "no, seriously Saints, you arent gonna compete for the SB this season". Then in 2015 we beat them on the 1 play CJ Spiller ever made for the Saints.
