I will admit yesterday's news of Mark Ingram returning really took me by surprise. I'm extremely stoke that our rushing duo are back together. But it got me thinking, "Do y'all think will we make another "last minute" trade or Mark Ingram is all we needed?

Because 90% of us been wondering on how we will address the WR corps. Recently, former Saints players, Brandin Cooks & Willie Snead were linked to us but unfortunately, Snead signed with the Panthers. And Cooks is throwing another tantrum involving us. What do y'all will happen next?

Question... How do you or anyone know his tweet involve us? I hate cryptic text as much as anyone but I don't like drawing conclusions either. I am curious about his rant. Who to say Cooks want to be traded or wants to come here.

As much as we have, there's only context to really go on. Kind of a 2+2 type of thing. Ingram trade is announced, and not long after you got Cooks tweet. If nothing else, its awfully coincidental that Cooks seemed to be angry about something right as the news broke. Is that what happened? We'll probably never know, but that's all we have to go on right now.

I wouldn't be surprised if we traded for a WR before the deadline. Maybe not a "big name" but a capable wideout that will complement Thomas/Callaway/Stills.

Tim Patrick, Crowder types < --- guys who can get open.

Now if I wanted to be "surprised", give me Allen Robinson :).

I didn't say anything about Brandin Cooks (himself) said that he wanted to come back here or not. All I said he is throwing a temper tantrum because Mark Ingram (his close friend) was traded out of Houston, which "involved us."

Secondly, Cooks's tweet could have meant a lot of things. Like his anger towards Houston for trading his best friend, which happens to involved us. Or he mad at Houston, in general, for trading everyone except him. Or maybe he's simply mad at the world right now. We dont know.

Don't get wrong me, I would love to have Brandin Cooks come back to us & help make our offense dangerous, once again. But both parties MUST co-exist.

If we trade for a WR it's with long term thinking not just this year for help because it would be a waste of draft capital to trade for a guy for one year because of the struggles of the young players we decided to go with.

With Thomas coming back that may be the addition we need to take the pressure off the other players, even him being on the field will open things up for the secondary players to make plays.

I would lean more to it being about all of the trades Houston has done in the last couple of weeks, not just the MI trade to the Saints. I am sure Cooks feels like he is in no mans land now because of all the talent being dealt out.

I see s lot of talk when CGM gets back everything will be fine but not playing football for as long as he has I don't see him up to speed for at least month after coming back .

Well we don't know. He might be mad because he didn't get fed.... If you know what I mean
