Generally, the most buzzed about teams get earlier scheduled primetime or standalone games on the schedule. This is over a month away, but what teams are looking to get first dibs?
For certain, I know Chicago is at the top. Big market team getting the top play caller the last two years. But have the Lambs generated that same buzz? What about Seattle, who was about as productive as LA? Do the Steelers when they sign Rodgers? I'm not sure Katz(or whoever is in charge now) is itching to put Pittsburgh on national TV more than they have even with Rodgers. They're already no longer a CBS staple.
I cannot see the Titans getting scheduling buzz drafting Ward. But Giants and Sanders, if they draft him, are another story. But they'll probably just get an ABC MNF and maybe a SNF. Titans an ABC MNF.
Based on the previous year, the team most talked about is probably the Commanders. And then you factor in the top two draft picks in 24 and there's a top schedule agenda right there.
For instance, last year, it was Houston, followed by Detroit, LAC, and Atlanta. Houston had a big off-season that accompanied their 23 buzz. Detroit got to NFCCG in a surprise year. LAC got Harbaugh, and Atlanta got Cousins.
So if my thinking is right, Chicago, Washington, LAR, and Seattle seem to be the top focus. This does not mean they're going to get the most games, but going to get primetime/standalone games against the bigger teams on their schedule or earlier in the year.
