Alright, I took a couple of days to post this 'cause I wanted to give all the doom sayers their chance to predict 5-11 seasons and the inevitable move to L.A. before I posted. This is exactly what this team needed. Although the Saints are filled with veteran talent, we are still a young team and I think this game serves as notice that just because you step onto the field does NOT mean you win the game. The Saints came out flat and played undisciplined football from the start. Hopefully the team takes this loss and learns. They've been in every game they've played thus far, started to get media attention, and maybe got a bit of a cocky swagger. Hopefully, they now know how they got this far and will strive to return to the basics. I trust Coach will instill this in all of his players.

I agree. no loss is ever really a "good" loss, but this may possibly help to correct some mistakes.
