What will darren Rizzi Do for us the rest of the season (1 Viewer)

It’s highly unlikely he will be anything more than a placeholder and won’t get much more out of this team than Allen was able to. Might see an initial bump before it flatlines but I’m not counting on it.

I said yesterday that the only thing that could add some interest back into this season was if the team moved on from Allen. Not because I expect anything to really change but just needed to know the team would be in different hands, at least.

Still a lot of injuries and still not a very good roster.
My mood Is definitely alot better. It's a relief knowing a different direction is occurring. Yes the team will probably still lose, buy it won't be lifeless type of losing. That kind of losing is the worst.

My guess is he’ll win 3 or 4 games and we’ll end up with a 13th or so draft pick.

The real question is, does he get the head coaching job next season? Like it or not, he’s auditioning. If he wins 4 games and one or more of those wins come against good teams (winning records) then there is a real chance he becomes the permanent head coach

I feel the same way. I was worried that nothing was going to be done which had me losing all enthusiasm for this team. At least now I know that the higher ups realized there was a serious problem. I can deal with losing but I want to see some energy and some fight. I watch sports for entertainment and what I was seeing the last few seasons was far from entertaining.

if we hire Rizzi, i'm done. i'm not buying no more beach condos in nevada.

He'll be in a very thankless and, basically, no upside position. But I dunno anything about him either. I hope he has some rizz, though.
As a 64 year-old teacher, I approve this message. The last time I used rizz on a message board, EVERYONE said “What is that?” SP had it. DA had NONE!

At least this guy knows how to call a timeout. That's how low the bar is.
Q: How effective are you with screaming "timeout!" and making your hands into a T-shape?
Q: And would you know when to call a timeout and when not to?

Bonus:
Q: How much mercy to you have for our division rivals or any non-Saints football team?

Simple quiz. You could probably send this out via SurveyMonkey.

He'll be given a box of band aids to try to stop the hemorrhaging.

Basically thrown to the wolves!

I am going to give him a chance. He has had good squads for the most part and is a fiery leader that can actually motivate players. If that translates into success I will welcome it.

I'm interested to see if the offense and defense look any different.
We are a man vs man defense and I think that hurts the athletes we have at corner because they do not get to make plays on the ball as much, I hope we start playing more man zone where the corner is responsible for who is in their area and can play more downhill and make plays on the ball.

Curious to who running the defense atm, but Rizzi may light more a fire under this team than Allen did. That's been severely lacking where I got confidence this squad can pull off a few wins perhaps.
