What would be the last minute timeframe to hire a new coach? (1 Viewer)

Coach Payton was hired in January of 06 but we're fixing to be in February so should we be in a rush to get a new coach asap or take our time? What's the last minute timeframe to hire one so he could get his staff in place, family, etc, and start getting ready for the upcoming draft?

Next week is the senior bowl. That’s where interviews will likely happen since the entire NFL is there. I would expect an announcement the week after next.

Combine is the first week of March.
Free Agency starts in mid-March.

Ya our lack of announced interviews is sure sounding like DA. Unless they are looking at one of playoff teams coaches it sure looks like him
