What would be your ideal first 3 picks if we stand pat? (1 Viewer)

BPA. Whoever falls (someone always does).

Who knows who will fall. It could be the safety from ND, the CB from Washington, one of the edges, one of the DT's, one of the WR's. I dunno.

But we are thin on picks next year and the following. We've got to secure the best talent we can now for the long haul. And just because we're good on a position now doesn't mean that an injury won't happen.
Would would be your preference?

I personally think the tier 1 WRs & OTs will all be gone by 16. So, i made my choices according to that.

16. EDGE George Karlaftis Purdue
19. WR Treylon Burks Arkansas
49. LB Chad Muma Wyoming

My preference would be that massive DT from Georgia. Jordan Davis.

But I don't think that's realistic. More realistic would be one of the WR's (due to the ACL's) or that CB (McDuffie). I'm just guessing.

But someone will fall.
I’m with you. I honestly think that Davis was the best GA defender. He’s better than Walker who may go #1 overall. He and Hamilton are so good that I wouldn’t be opposed if the Saints went that route at 16 and 19 instead of LT and WR. Can always get OL and WR in other rounds.

I'm thinking the same thing.

Thursday night is going to be exciting. I already took Friday off to cover the hangover.

My dream scenario:

16 - Cross
19 - Dotson (I think he is vastly underrated)
49 - Nick Cross (UMD kid, great player on a poor team)

Breece Hall probably won’t be a 2nd round pick…but if he’s there I’m taking him

Man, I’ve been a huge Breece Hall fan for MONTHS now! Good size speed n vision. He can run with power inside, but speed to go outside. Nice hands too! I saw him as a nice fit in this O behind AK n thought we could get him in da 3rd rd.

But I got POed wen he blew it up at da Combine!!! At about 6’ n 217 lbs, he ran like a 4.39 forty! ( On a side note: I really wasn’t TOO surprised with his forty. IMO, He’s built like, n in da open field, runs like a SPRINTER!).

So, so much for him bein there in da 3rd rd!

😡😡😡

Well got the first two right just not in the right order. Didn’t really like trading up for Olave, but after seeing the Lions trade up right after us for Jameson, which I would just about guarantee we knew they were trying to, we had to do it if we wanted a top notch guy like Olave which he truly is.

Best route runner in the draft and his speed is underrated since he had Wilson & Smith-Njigba on the same damn team.

Now let’s get Brisker & a good RB late & I’ll be happy
