Whats the first play gonna be??? (1 Viewer)

Offense:
Drew takes the snap behind center and starts a 3-step drop, but has to rush the pass because of an all-out blitz by the Lionesses. He releases the ball --a quick out to Shockey-- off his back foot and it sails a bit hanging Shockey out to dry. Shockey gets absolutely creamed by a safety who read the play well. The ball falls incomplete. The ref throws a flag for unnecessary roughness against a defenseless receiver. Shockey is extremely slow to get up. When he gets to his feet the crowd screams as he yanks is helmet off in sheer fury and points it at the safety with not-so-veiled threats. Ref throws a flag on Shockey for removing his helmet. Shanle and Grant rush onto the field to escort Shockey to the bench before he launches himself into more trouble.

On defense:
A rat runs onto the field all the way to the Lionesses huddle. Stafford calls a timeout and the crowd cheers for the rat who may have intimidated Stafford.

What? you guys don't know how to play this game.

I don't know if it's possible for a safety to "cream" shockey. That safety probably weights in a good 60lbs less and gives up 5 inches to him. He'd probably hit shockey and bounce off.

So, that's the part you think is improbable. :D

Defense...Deep pass to Calvin Johnson for a big gainer....

Offense...Pass to Shockey for a pickup of 9 yards...

Playaction to Bell, into a deep pass to Henderson that falls incomplete. 2nd play will be a 6 yd run by Bell.

O: 20 yard pass play to Jeremy Shockey. It will be followed by a 52 yard run from Reggie Bush for a touchdown. Two plays, endzone!

D: Kevin Smith left side for 1 yard gain. Second play, Stafford will look up top for Calvin Johnson but the deep ball will be well defended. Saints fans will jump and scream just to see the Saints not give up a deep ball. On third and 9, Anthony Hargrove will get his first sack as a Saint and the first sack of the season. Detroit 3 and out!

ST: The Lions will punt the ball to Reggie, he'll take it near the left sideline, make one guy miss, break it back across field, juke the punter and go into the endzone. Saints go up 14-0, and the Lions begin to panic.

Drew goes on to throw for 429 and 4 touchdowns. Reggie has his 1st 100 yard game since his rookie season with 15 carries, 125 yards and 2 tds. Reggie also catches 6 pass for 51 yards. Colston finishes with 8 catches for 123 yards and a touchdown. Shockey gets his first touchdown as a Saint and finishes with 5 catches, 56 yards. Moore has 5 catches for 70 yards and a score. Meachem has 2 catches for 69 yards and a score; he also has one carry for 9 yards. Mike Bell adds a 7th touchdown for the Saints on a short run and rushes 10 times for 49 yards. Devery Hendersno catches 2 passes for 38 yards while our new TE Dave Thomas catches 1 pass for 16 yards. The Saints offense goes for 612 total yards while the holding the Matt Stafford and Lions to 182 yards passing and 83 yards rushing (265 total). Saints win 52-13 to open the seasonand Skip Bayless goes crazy the next morning on First and 10 about how the Saints and Reggie Bush only looked good because it was the "freaking Lions for crying out loud!" See you next week after Philly, Skip!
