Born and lived in the Chicago area my whole life. Was a die hard Bears fan my whole life - 36 years old. My wife and I started going to NOLA a couple times a year and we fell in love with the city. Went to the Bears game in The Dome a year ago and had something I can only describe as a religious experience. It was a very hard decision but felt like I needed to be part of this. As many of you know the Bears fan base has always had a larger contingent of jerk fans than most teams, something that has always irritated me. In hindsight the decision shouldn't have been this hard. No going back. This is too damn fun.

Not sure why it took me this long to post. Guess I was just waiting for the right thread. Been lurking on here for over a year. We found the Chicago Who Dat group and have gone to one game at the bar they meet up for games. Wish we could do more but we live in the suburbs and it's a trek. We came down for the game against the Rams this year. What an experience!

Old Greenwich CT, Relay MD, Catonsville MD, Philadelphia, Huntingdon Valley PA, Bainbridge NY, H.V. PA again, college in Oberlin OH, Philly again, Clarkston GA, Philly again, Olivet MI (two places) New Orleans (two places), Albany NY (5 places), West Chester PA. You could also say Pompano Beach, FL, but that was just a PO box when we were on paper homeless. Down to about five unpacked boxes.

Purvis, Pascagoula, Columbia, Laurel, Hattiesburg, in Mississippi... West Monroe, LA... Mobile, Atmore, Daphne, Bayou Le Batre, and back to Mobile in Alabama. In other words...Saints Country.

The Saints are a little unique in that there are no other teams relatively close, so they have a very large regional fan base that spreads from Texas to West Florida. I'm from Biloxi, Mississippi and as with most team cities the vast majority of family and friends that are from the region and many of the transplants as well, support the Saints.

I was born in Cameron hospital in Angola, Indiana. If that doesn't mean I was supposed to live in Louisiana I don't know what does. We moved to the Lake Charles area when I was a year and a half old right before Hurricane Audrey where I lived for the first fifty something years of my life. I've spent the last twelve or so years all over but now live in Beaumont, TX where I hope to stay until I move to my grave, uh, urn.
