Where would Taysom fit on defense? (1 Viewer)

Why not try him rushing the passer on an obvious passing down and see what happens? All I can think of is at worst he just doesn't get pressure and that's happened plenty of times before from our DE's

Oh yeah, put him out there on the edge and let him do his thing. Crazy thing about it is that they could throw him in there without any practice and I have no doubt he'd make something happen. Just a natural born ball player. Some guys just have a feel for the game and an innate ability to make plays. Taysom Hill is one of those guys.

Honestly think he’d be great at blitzing the QB.

I mean if he’s as good at that as blocking punts. Probably so. Why not.

He can probably run with any WR too

No doubt, Taysom IS a “dawg”! But a couple of weeks ago, someone said he runs like “a bully “! Love it!

And how bout givin DA some well deserved props:

The “bink” formation, da Hill/Saunders backfield, ain’t jus some “gadget play” anymore! It’s REAL n it WORKS!

And is it jus ME, or has Taysom Hill finally been utilized better than ever, playin some of his best ball than ever, n havn the most fun doin it, in his career as a Saint!?

I believe that Jamaal Williams called Taysom "A buff gazelle"
And yes...I do believe that he has hit his stride since being utilized properly!

OLB would be ideal. I mean Sad we aren't a good enough team to actually have games were we handily beat an opponent were we could put him in for a few series late in the 4th to see if he could do it.

I would play him as an OLB on passing downs, strictly as a pass rush specialist. Don't want him to get hurt, because we need him on offense.
