It's almost like team leaders are as important to winning as outstanding individual play.

I hope our MLB, FS, and someone on the interior D line take up leadership roles like Brees does on offense. Kenny V and Breaux have shown flashes of leadership, but I want our leaders to be rock-jawed, in-your-face perfectionists. When someone screws up, they should hear it from their on-field leaders first.

Without him going further than last year the other WR's are going to draw too much attention. It is a passing league whether we want to run the ball more and be balanced.

It is my belief it will be Sheldon Rankins. He will make our defensive line better. He will make our linebackers better. And he will make our defensive backs better. Our defense will shine this year and he will be the reason in his second year from game one.

Whoever becomes the starting MLB. The entire season will hinge on the MLB being able to put players in the right position and making sure they know their assignments.

If someone can step up and take control of that position, and Coach Nolan can get the LBs on point, we have plenty enough talent to be a top 15 defense.

Its between Adrian Peterson and Alvin Kamara to me. AD because of the attention he will command when in the backfield. With his presence alone i think defenses will stupidly try to key on him when in some instances he may just be a decoy and what do you know, theres Ginn or Mike thomas 6 steps behind the Defense because of the play action. Kamara because he is literally the chess piece we have been missing for a long time. Sean payton will be able to open the playbook due to his versatility and create favorable matchups on linebackers as weve seen in years pass. Im honestly excited about alot of things going into this season Offensively and defensive wise! Heres to health and a 10+ win season.

A healthy and ready to go Klein will make a massive difference, but I want to say Lattimore. Breaux can hold down a side. But if Lattimore can do what we think, it changes the entire defense. Allen can blitz and bring pressure form everywhere. Our 2 DTs that were on the ball last year would now have that step in their favor instead of the QBs. Nope i think it all comes down to Lattimore.

I really hope it's Klein or Fleener. If either or both of those guys step up, the difference will be extremely noticeable.

I want a big overall improvement across the board more than I want a superstar. But a superstar on an overall improved defense would be nice.
