Offense - Bub Means

As a 5th round pick thrown into the starting line up he has performed well. He apparently is Rattlerā€™s go to in tight situations due to their working together on the scout team.

Defense - Alonte Taylor

He was a really good boundary CB who got thrown into the slot roll which was not his strong suit yet he took the assignment and adapted. Heā€™s been one of our best tacklers and is looking good blitzing off the edge.

Jury is still out on Bub Means (...too small of a sample).

Alonte Taylor choice is "money!"

:gosaints:

Penning.

A. Taylor has made some splash plays, but our defense is still giving it up to the primary slot receiver. C. Godwin last week and JuJu the week prior tore us up. Juju getting over 100yds is quite alarming seeing as heā€™s basically the equivalent of picking a FA off the street during the season. It may be a scheme issue.
Agreed. Taylor make splash plays but he still leads our team in receptions and yards given up.

Our punter and kicker. Honestly, i didnā€™t expect much from them at all this year. Who I want to surprise me? Bub and Tipton. We need these dudes to do something as of right now.
Here's hoping one of them can be the Pula Nacua of this year. If memory serves, it took him a minute to come on last year but really boosted the Rams down the stretch after a 3-6 start. Of either of them can contribute in a solid way, it goes a looong way towards this year and next.

As of right now, I see Bub becoming the better receiver, as opposed to Tipton. The lights seem too bright for Tipton right now

Penning. The importance of him getting it together can't be understated. Having LT and RT locked down is huge for whatever the future has in store.

Taylor is a stud. He brings it every play. Hopefully the team meetings today had a lot of his olay showing the quitters how to to play.

Tipton looked a lot like Lance Moore last game. Catch the ball, go down.
I thought the same thing. Lance eventually overcame that. He had great balance, so once he got used to staying on his feet, he became a weapon. Hopefully Tipton finds his way and not be one of those excellent practice players who do next to nothing in games

Penning is the obvious choiceā€¦. There was a realistic chance that heā€™d be looking for a new job by this point when we started the season. And heā€™s been one of the few players we can depend on so far on the OLine. So yeah. Penning.
