Which WR will step up this weekend? (1 Viewer)

I love Michael Thomas, I do but honestly this might sound bad but I am tired of seeing him not in a bad way just no one else is stepping up, somebody in the WR has to come up big anybody other than MT just to take pressure of him this offense will become unstoppable if that happens. Ted Ginn hasn't been back for awhile he could of been that guy so there is opportunity there. Smith I have kind of written off. Kirkwood is sort of there too.

Last time we played against the Rams, TQS had a monster game. Who will it be this week ? After the game MT had, I believe the Rams will not let him beat them. So I think Ginn or...wait for it.. Dan Arnold will play a huge role. I still Saints will blow them out. This time, Saints 48 Rams 17
No, sorry. It’s going to be MT again.

I don’t think they have the secondary to play man coverage. And if they play zone Brees will feast. If they double Thomas that leaves Ginn and others open. Even Thomas could get open in that case. Then there’s check downs to Kamara. And I think we’ll see wrinkles to Kamara’s routes and even get Ingram involved in the passing game more.

I just think they’re going to go beyond themselves and try something like the Chargers putting 7 DBs on the field trying to stop Thomas. And we’ll run right over them.

I cant see Thomas slowing down. I think he rolls again with another big game. I like Kamara to have near to 100 yards receiving , open up his skill set again like before Ingram's return

Completely agree. It’s not that I don’t enjoy seeing MT dominate like he does, but as good as Curtis Johnson is where are the other WR’s?

TQS has been a disappointment so far. I know he wasn’t a 1st or 2nd round pick but he’s been completely absent from a lot of games.

Kirkwood has showed up more than TQS and hopefully keeps improving. He’s an UDFA which makes TQS look even worse.

Ginn is the savy vet and has done his job well.

Carr hasn’t done much at all.

Really hope Meridith heals up and can be that #2 to help MT out next year.

Brees to MT is like playing Madden with a 99 QB and 99 WR. It's getting boring now. lol

I think we'll see them focus on MT, but it will largely depend on how. Do they press him at the line and bracket? If so, I'm thinking TQS or Kirkwood all day in the middle of the field.

Personally, I think Rams Defense realizes you can't give Brees time to throw because he'll always make the completion. I think they blitz heavy up the middle to exploit Peat's hand/holding issues. I think our league-changing screen game comes back as a result.

I am hoping for playoff Josh Hill but......this will be Ben Watson's last game in the Superdome, so I am hoping for him to have a big game!!

My money is on Kirkwood. I think he has evolved into our most dependable WR, outside Thomas of course.
