Who signs Jake Browning after this season? (2 Viewers)

Sadly, the only thing less likely than DA getting fired is the Saints signing a QB. Absent a Charger-esque meltdown, we are trotting out the same coach and QB for one more year.
If we make the playoffs so what. If we don't get rid of him. I hope that we make the playoffs

I don't believe Haener is in our future. I know some of you don't like Bobby Herbert, but he said Haener
just doesn't have an NFL arm. Those deep outs he was throwing in preseason were against players who
didn't make the final cuts. They would have been Int's against NFL starters. Bobby also bases his opinion
on what he's seen in practice .
I disagree, I watched JH for almost 2 yrs @ Fresno ST , he has just as good an arm as Bryce Young . And Bobby Hebert has not been sober since he was Falcon . He thought Dalton was the answer last yr

That's been one of the knocks against Bryce Young this season. His deep passes tend to float.

That’s what I’m saying, where did this attitude of Jake was a bust pick come from all of a sudden? i don’t have an opinion either way, because there’s not much nfl film to go on

I’m begging the Saints to not fall for yet another 6-game wonder journeyman and instead draft a young QB.

Aaron Rodgers —> Matt Flynn
Dan Marino —> Scott Mitchell

I'm sure there are many more, but those are just 2 cases that stand out to me of injury back-up glory to free agent wonder to new team flop.

Can’t think of any where it worked out.

I wouldn’t say Mitchell was a flop with Detroit. He had a 4,300-yard season in 1995 and played four solid seasons there until Barry Sanders’ retirement finished that franchise for almost a decade and a half.

Everyone was wringing their hands over Joshua Dobbs a few weeks ago, it's what fans do when a back up surprises.

I can't see any NFL team breaking the bank for this guy. He has an average arm. I can see him getting a nice contract but he should not be annointed the savior of any team's QB woes. He's Case Keenum to me. I'm impressed by what he's doing and I'm rooting for him. It's fun to watch a guy like him succeed. I also think there's about 15-20 good NFL QBs and he's not one of them. Beyond that top group, the next group of guys is interchangeable. Maybe there's a future for him as a bridge guy for 2, 3, 4 teams after his time in Cincy is done.

It was hard for me to grade him in preseason. It seemed like he had a good arm but Bobby would surely know. I think drafting a 1st or 2nd rounder is our best option to start developing. But once again the coaches know better then we do right.

I would rather have Browning's OC. We already have a potential younger starter on the team.
