1st, let me give props to Allen for his 1st time winning season.

But, this guy is NOT an head coach.

Now, he is going to start jettising all of our top players. This is supposedly how you get better .

It's quite obvious he's lost this team.

I have never liked the addage of so called "running up the score.". It's the opposing teams job to stop you, not the better teams job to show you respect. You have pro players, we have pro players. Stop us on your own. It's like the old prevent defense. It really only prevented you from winning.

The posted article shows several players that might get let go. Simply because these players know what everyone but Loomis knows - Allen is a joke as a head coach.

We had the talent and schedule to easily win the division and #2 seed. It all started coming apart against green bay. 17-0 in the 4th quarter. We end up losing.

Our 1st half game plans were awful all year.

Well, we all know what Loomis will do. Oh well

Easiest schedule in our franchise’s history and this dude couldn’t win a hottt garbage division. If ML says the goal is to 1.) win the division (every year), then this was the best chance to do it, but 🦌 couldn’t get it done.
Stand on your word ML. Don’t settle for mediocrity bc that is what this is.

Weak leadership starts with Loomis. If he ignores this and brings back DA, then you'll really start to see the implosion, which started yesterday after the final TD.

Been saying all year long the players are in charge. And anyone who speaks up or talks out won’t be here. MT… CJGJ… Lattimore…. AK… DA will try and do a culture change like Sean did but doesn’t have the resume to do it.

Unfortunately i think Allen’s success this year makes it impossible for Loomis to let him go even if he would want to. What kind of message does that send to future HC candidates if your expectations are so unrealistic that you fire a coach after two seasons who has shown improvement (albeit against a cupcake schedule) who ended this season with a winning record and nearly the NFC South title?

I mean even Authur Smith got three seasons. I think at a minimum Allen has one more year and if he regresses then it becomes easier to get rid of him.

He doesn't have the personality to do it...his resume is decent enough as a DC but it was diminished when his HC credentials tanked.

Still, his personality and lack of leadership characteristics (accountability, judgment, decision making, etc.) does not bode well for strong personalities. He doesn't know how to confront them and functions poorly with friction.

JW is a FA so he likely won't be signed.

MT will likely be cut. His history of injuries along with his social media presence will make it easy - no matter the cap hit.

I could easily see Lattimore and Kamara being traded for draft capital but Loomis will likely be fleeced leaving many a fan to bemoan the ineptitudes of ML as GM when it comes to compensation.

What was unrealistic about winning the division or making the playoffs? His dumb arse coaching was the root of failure

Jameis is in charge. :funny1:

Success is one game above 500 and missing out on the playoffs. Oh how far we've fallen. Philly fired a Super Bowl coach after a couple of years, but hey Lucky knows best.
