Why is Lattimore's jersey numbers a different color than the rest of the team?? (1 Viewer)

I noticed the same thing on Jordan Howden, week 1. It could be water or sweat. Old gold is a hard color to waterproof.
This. It's all it is.

Not sure why everyone's so surprised. It's been like this ever since they switched to the Vapor Untouchable style jerseys.

Between sweat, stray water bottle sprays, and players straight dousing their heads with water to cool off, it's easy for the numbers to get wet.

When exactly did this change happen? I can’t say I have ever noticed this before until today.

It looks like a playground team that needed to stop at Academy before the game to get a few new replacement jerseys for ones that got ripped the previous game. 😂

If I'm remembering right, I believe it's around the time when the team shifted away from the infamous "toilet collars" so should be 2017 but I don't remember 100% if those 2017 jerseys were the new new Nike jerseys so it might've been 2018.

I know in 2018 the bottom of the collars started having that grille mesh on them with the "NFL 100" logo for the league's centennial. I remember those being advertised as the "Vapor Untouchable" models.

From the stuff I seen before, those jersey models and the current "Vapor FUSE" use the same numbers.

I think they were the same color but the way the light fell and the sweat caused this optical illusion
I thought this too but they are different font. Kinda like the knock offs you can get.

Agreed. I believe they used the numbers from either our throwbacks or the color rush for some guys.

Because think about it…why would only four select players have experienced sweat on their jerseys or this lighting anomaly, and why would we only just now notice this?
