For anyone who attended the Super Bowl in the Dome on Sunday, how was the WiFi signal during the game?

The WiFi provided by the Dome for spectators is usually horrible during Saints games, so I was wondering if measures were taken to improve the WiFi in the Dome for the big game.

I wasn't at the Super Bowl but the WiFi has been very good for me at the bottom of the plaza this whole season since the offseason upgrades.

It used to be rather poor or spotty at best but after these most recent renovations I noticed a much better experience. Only thing I noticed is every now and then when I'd put the phone away for a few minutes then pull it back out that sometimes I'd have to manually reconnect to the network but other than that no issues.

Hell, the game against the Raiders at the end of the season was so bad I started watching a stream of the Colts-Giants game instead and the connection was solid.

I sit in the terrace level for Saints games and have NEVER had a good experience with the WIFI. It's terrible. After every home game, I would get a survey and one of the questions was about the WIFI. I answered the same every time. Terrible!

I was at the Atlanta game in November and had 5 bars of service the entire game. It was surely upgraded this season as I usually could not even check fantasy stats in previous years.

Curious, do you use Verizon? My seat neighbor has Verizon and gets good service. I have ATT and never have decent service after about a half hour before kickoff.

I’m assuming in worked well otherwise they(media) would have been complaining on about it on air and social media. It was working well enough to let us know Taylor got booed out the Dome.

Judging from these responses, it sounds like upgrades were made simply because we hosted the Super Bowl this time out. Better now than never, I guess.

The years I had my season tickets in section 645 (2003-10) were pretty bad for wifi. Granted, those were the transition years from Nokia phones to smartphones, and so I had let my tix expire by the time the world got so dependent on mobile technology.

In the years since, I've gone to one game a year (up until the pandemic). I think Verizon was the official carrier of the team for a time? That seemed to explain why my AT&T service stunk so bad while I was in there. Would drain the battery to upload a pic onto social media, for example.

Perhaps the new coach will give me a reason to go see about the wifi again (y)
