Wild draft trade idea

So Ik I haven’t posted in a while, but I’ve still tried to keep up with the board when I can; so I’d like to be able to say I’m pretty aware of the state of the Saints. So with that said this is a wild trade idea.

Saints trade pick 9, pick 112, and Chris Olave to the Giants.

Giants trade pick 34, 99, 154, 2026 1st, 2027 3rd to Saints.

That gives the Saints picks 34, 40, 71, 93, 99, 131, 154, 184, 248, & 254.

It gives the Giants flexibility at the top with new bargaining chips to try to pull of the Sanders/Hunter combo. It also gives them a shot at rejuvenating Chris Olave with a new rookie qb to throw him the ball.

For the Saints it gives you 12 draft picks for a roster that desperately needs an injection of youth. Also with the 2026 1st from the Giants you could potentially be looking at a premium draft pick and possibly their choice at Manning/Nuss/Iamleava etc.

Could easily get a Deone Walker/Mason Taylor combo with 34 & 40 too.

Gives you flexibility to move around in the middle of the draft. Idk I was just throwing blind darts at a wall.

My only problem is I find the guys likely available at pick 9 are subpar(and that’s being kind) like I outlined in my avoid draft thread.

@9 is not a coveted pick this draft. The compensation cost to trade up to it is not worth the value you would get.

People need to forget "trades" in this Saints draft. Keep every darn pick. Loomis can't help self and he's why this roster is looking like it is. Remember, last year, the Saints got NOBODY on the pro bowl. We have an "OK" roster - but many on this board are still looking at thru black & gold glasses.

1st round picks are 50/50 bets, I like the idea of getting more picks and a 1st next year when we are QB shopping.
